Orbea Laufey H-LTD 2026
2026 Orbea Laufey H-LTD – The Hardcore Hardtail of the Family
The Laufey H-LTD is the top build in the range, turning the playful alloy frame into a genuinely aggressive hardtail with components that can keep up. With a stiffer 36 mm fork, heavier-hitting wheels and higher-tier drivetrain and brakes, it’s built for riders who constantly seek the rough line rather than the easy one.
Â
Dialled Alloy Chassis, Built to Be Thrashed
As with every Laufey, the H-LTD uses a triple-butted 29" Boost frame with ISCG 05 tabs, internal cable routing and space for long-travel droppers. The geometry and tyre clearance are ready for steep chutes, off-piste trails and proper winter hacking.
Â
Fox 36 Float SL 140 mm & Trail-Proven Wheels
A 140 mm Fox 36 Float SL Performance fork adds serious front-end stiffness and composure when trails get fast and choppy. Race Face AR 30c tubeless rims offer a tougher, wider platform for the 2.6" Maxxis Dissector tyres, giving you support in hard berms and confidence when the trail is more “enduro” than “trail centre”.
Â
SLX / XT Drivetrain with Real Stopping Power
Shimano SLX shifter and XT rear derailleur move the chain across a 10–51T cassette with the precision you’d expect from a higher-end trail bike. Shimano M6120 four-piston brakes give you loads of controllable power for steeps and longer descents, making the H-LTD very hard to overwhelm.
Â
Finishing Kit Ready for Aggressive Riding
OC alloy cockpit, Ergon SM Enduro saddle and a proper dropper post round out a build that’s comfortable to pedal but clearly biased towards descending. It’s a hardtail that encourages you to push every section a little harder.
Â
Who Is the Laufey H-LTD For?
Riders who want a hardcore hardtail that can genuinely replace a full-suspension bike for a lot of riding – from techy local enduro lines to big Scottish days out. If you love the simplicity of one shock, one fork and a frame you don’t have to baby, this is the Laufey you’re looking for.
